DAA, a global airport and travel retail group, needed consistent baseline reporting and analytics across Aer Rianta International. Transparity delivered a business intelligence solution aligned to their latest operational systems, enabling standardised reporting to roll out globally.
Working with DAA’s BI team, Transparity used the Microsoft BI stack—Integration Services, a central SQL Data Warehouse, and Analysis Services cubes—plus report and dashboard migration. The outcome was a core solution providing a consistent view of data and, after training, full ownership by DAA. Explore our data consultancy and Power BI consultancy.

DAA have several BI solutions implemented around their business. As they continue to centralise and standardise the operational systems across their global retail business Aer Rianta International, they wanted to achieve a consistent baseline reporting capability and analytics associated with these systems. This meant the development of a new BI solution based on their latest systems that could be rolled out as a standard solution globally.
Transparity worked with the DAA Business Intelligence team to help design and build a new BI Solution. This solution made full use of the Microsoft BI Stack, using Integration Services and custom-built routines for transforming data. Data was stored in a central SQL Data Warehouse and a set of Analysis Services cubes were built to support reporting and analytics. Transparity helped with the migration of reports and dashboards as required.
DAA now have a core solution that can be rolled out with minimal changes to core functionality, allowing them to offer a consistent view of data across the whole business. Following training from Transparity, DAA have taken ownership of the solution, and will continue to evolve it as the demand for further insight comes from the business.
